Chairman, Eagle Paints Nigeria Limited, Chief Akinola Disu,
has appealed to Nigerians to be patient with the government over the
current insecurity in the country.
In an interview, Chief
Disu assured that the government was doing everything possible to solve
the Boko Haram menace, adding that the attacks would soon be a thing of
the past.
“I urge Nigerians to be patient with the government on
the Boko Haram menace. I believe the Goodluck Jonathan administration
is doing everything possible to stop the group from terrorising the
people.
“I have a strong faith in this country and I know that we
will overcome all our challenges such as insecurity, corruption and bad
governance,” he stated.
Chief Disu, an old student of CMS
Grammar School, Lagos explained that advanced countries like the United
States, United Kingdom, Japan, Germany and others also passed through
the phase we are in now and came out triumphant, adding that the country
will also overcome its challenges.
“Nigerians should always
support the government in all its programmes so as to be able to enjoy
the dividends of democracy. Our youths must develop the culture of hard
work and be honest in all that they do,” he counselled.
